Tom, Hunt Your Hole

June 09, 2014 By: Juanita Jean Category: Uncategorized

Just when you thought it was safe …

Tom DeLay slithers out of his hole and hisses

“This president is undermining the rule of law and the judiciary committee ought to start hearings on it,” DeLay said on his Washington Times radio program, adding that the House may also consider impeaching Obama to serve as a “warning to future presidents” about “undermining the rule of law.”

He also called for a House investigation into Obama’s purported “connections to radical Islamists” and his “leaning and having too much sympathy for radical Islamists.”

Tom, Honey, Barack Obama is the President and you’re going to prison as soon as you run out of money for your lawyer to keep appealing.  And you’re going in a damn hand basket to prepare for the afterlife.

Tom DeLay is a convicted felon.  Damn, I love saying that.

  1. Yes, Repubs, please impeach the President for getting a captive American soldier home. And please do it just before the next elections–the Dems need a boost.

The word “tomfoolery” has obvious implications here. The Republican’ts can’t keep their big, ignorant, foul-spewing mouths shut when it would serve them so much better. (see Mark Twain on fools opening their mouths)

Footnote to maryelle also by Mark Twain
“Suppose you were an idiot, and suppose you were a member of Congress; but I repeat myself.”

Ya know what cracks me up the most about the whole “impeach Obama” thing?

    President Joe Biden.

    daChipster,
You made me snort/laugh. Although truthfully, I wouldn’t have a problem with Joe as President. I suspect there is more there than he gets credit for.

  8. A lot of repeats on the suggestion that “justice should be swift”. There has to be a political hangup as well as a judicial stopgap in Delay’s case.

  9. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Considering that he’s a convicted felon facing prison time, it was really st00pid of him to have made a fool of himself dancing on TV.

  10. Isn’t is great to live in a post racial America? Now when the poor white trash get caught behind the barn doing something they shouldn’t be doing, they still go to town talking about what the black folks are up to. But without using racial slurs or threats of lynching, just terms like ‘rule of law’ and ‘impeachment.’

    We’ve come a long way.

Lorraine in Spring–Thanks for that reminder. DeLay types: jerks in big situations and jerks in small situations.

    @OldMayfly

My pleasure. My fantasy was always that the manager at Ruth’s Chris put Old Tom’s cigar out right in the middle of his forehead.

Just think of the hullabaloo it would cause if Joe “You bet it’s a big effin’ deal” Biden was sitting in the Oval Office. What do you suppose those good ole boys in Congress would think of those bananas? And I’d just betcha, Joe wouldn’t put up with any BS out of ole slimey Tom DeLay!!

I thought Tommy boy was already in the slammer. He has to run out of money sometime. Maybe when DeLay’s attorney’s kids (or grand kids) graduate from college? He wants to set a precedent? How about starting with Dubya and Cheney?

You think every program or article by DeLay should have a warning like cigarettes have: “WARNING: DeLay is a convicted felon.”
