  1. I’ve seen a similar requested posted at the local zoo’s chimpanzee exhibit.

  2. BarbinDC says:

    Rotsa Ruck with that!

  3. Hey! Don’t make faces at the funny GOPers! I know they’re ridiculous but give ‘em a break, will ya?

  4. Marcia in CO says:

    Sounds like naptime at daycare!!

  5. Sally in MI says:

But but…free speech and everything. Aren’t they afraid they will tick off one of those proud 2nd Amendment Texans? I mean, a little blood at a GOP confab might actually get people’s attention.

  6. The 8th commandment ought to cover it – Don’t bear false witness. Yeh, that ought to do it – I’m a dreamer.

  7. If you want to shoot at them, that’s probably A-OK.

  8. So I guess the questions what does Kindergarten and the GOP Convention have in common….

  9. RepubAnon says:

It’s nice to see that the adults are in charge… ;)

Seriously, a political convention where the chairman is asked to resolve disputes such as “He’s looking at me!” And, yes, I’m assuming that the vast majority of the Republican delegates are male.

  10. Don A in Pennsyltucky says:

    They’re so mature.

  11. Oh goodness.
When my brothers and I used to start whining on long trips and acting extremely childish—my father’s threat of “Do I have to pull this car over”? always worked.

When is someone gonna pull the republicans over?

Politico has a scary story on how popular Cruz is at the convention and how the GOPers there are/were begging him to run, introducing him as America’s next president. Wonder if he has renounced his Canadian citizenship yet? He is one scary person as I believe him to be totally delusional. He truly believes he is the Savior of America! Of course, it seems that his father has brought him up to believe this story. I hope he steps into a very deep pile of crap soon!

  13. 1smartcanerican, I can’t decide if Cruz believes himself or if he’s just completely cynical and manipulative, but he reminds me (and plenty of others) of Joe McCarthy. He’s one oily bugger and it’s scary how many people he’s suckered.

This is totally OT, but I saw ‘Citizen Koch’ today at IFC Film Center. For those of you who don’t know about it, CK was supposed to be a PBS documentary, but David Koch sits on the board and got the funding pulled. A Kickstarter campaign replaced the funding. If it’s playing in your town this weekend, go see it, so it has a chance to play more widely. Thanks.

  15. Marge Wood says:

Thanks, everyone. I want to see CITIZEN KOCH too. And I think the whole GOP convention did its best to drag us back to 1943 or something. This is what happens when nobody talks about how things used to be and why certain laws got passed. McCarthy indeed.

  16. It’s sad, but I’m pretty sure those are their normal faces.

  17. e platypus onion says:

I’ve said it before, these babies need to go back to pre-school and learn to play well with others. Stuff their parents should have taught them if they hadn’t hatched out on fence posts.

  18. Angelo_Frank says:

    Crazy as crazy can be…

Cruz Runs Away with Straw Poll at Republican Party Convention

  19. Bananas says:

Did the chairman explain that if the wind changed while they were making faces they would be stuck with those ugly faces for ever?

  20. Hoo, boy! If this is a glimpse of what the national GOP convention will be like, we all could be rolling on the floor laughing! As I recall, someone older and wiser than me once said that the way to get rid of bullies was by laughter!

  21. Sandridge says:

What? Nobody called in the DPS Troopers to search for bags of feces? At that level of maturity they could have checked the Repukes nappies for “ammo”.
